Region 5 Convention, June 18-19, 2010

IPMS Region 5 held their annual contest on June 18-19, 2010 in Portage, Indiana in the outskirts of Chicago, Illinois. My understanding is that there were about 400 kits on display. The aircraft category was surprisingly thin. Some believed the armor to be mighty thin also. Space and Sci-Fi showed a dramatic come-back compared to other shows I've been at. The facility was well lit and spacious. Vendors were there in abundance. Yours truly was unable to resist getting some tools, weathering supplies and a couple of resin parts for a future project. All in all, IPMS Duneland is to be congratulated for a fine show.
