This month was a Modeller of the Year competition night. Kits are judged by a panel of three in their respective categories by near IPMS judging standards. Points are awarded for each kit entered and each kit placing. Points are accumulated over the year and the member with the most points at year's end is our Modeller of the Year.
While judging was on-going, members were scattered across the meeting facility chatting and building and showing off building skills.
Fred Amos also gave us a show and tell on how he masks using a variety of mediums.
Our usual raffle was held and as usual, the members had a great time.
On to the Pics! I'll confess that since moving to our new facility, my photos have not been of the usual caliber. I still have not adjusted to the lighting and I have been rushed at most meetings. I apologize for lack of clarity and poor color rendering in several photos. Those photos not labelled were not identified to the contest chairman as to builder or kit. My apologies to those whose kits aren't credited. An e-mail to webmaster@ipms-gateway.com will remedy that if you'll let me know that you built it and what it is.
