Beauty Contest and Goof-off Night
This month, we weren't out to accomplish much. We had our usual beauty contest. Mike McShea, once again, won handily with his Academy Warrior. We did have a number of nice builds on the tables, but John Mueller admonished us to get cracking because there just has not been as large a volume of builds on display lately. The more builds, the merrier. Plus, those extra builds are an encouragement for others to build.
John Mueller also brought in his newest DVD acquisition, The Red Baron, in German with English dubbing. Many members sat engrossed in the movie. Some of the aircraft battle scenes were pretty cool!
