Meetings November 20, 2007 Modeller of the Year Contest and build night Since I was out of town for our October meeting, I have to apologize right now for the lack of updates since then. I understand that October was just as busy as usual. November's meeting was a build night with contest. Only a couple of orders of business occurred, Bob Stroup nominations were taken and closed, and officers were nominated. The vote for officers and directors will occur during the December meeting. Just a reminder, the club banquet is next weekend, the 1st of December at the Bevo Mill in St. Louis. You can access their website from our home page. The theme for November's Modeller of the Year contest was "Choppers." We had two members bring helicoptors. No other choppers (cars or bikes) showed up. Shame. Some of the bikes I saw at our Invitational were inspiring. I was hoping to see more. Since our contest chair is temporarily out of commission, I do not have all the names that go with the kits. The one's I'm familiar with are labelled. If anyone out there knows more, please e-mail me. As usual on a contest night, many of our members were slowly building their latest masterpiece. I saw lots of armor, aircraft and a car with an exceedingly/excellently detailed engine bay! Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to seeing the final products. On to the Pics!
